Winter in Grindelwald
The Grindelwald ski area is split into three distinct regions – all now linked together. Grindelwald-First, Kleine Scheidegg-Männlichen and Mürren-Schilthorn now offer a total of 213 kilometers of ski runs ranging from leisurely blue runs to some of the steepest terrain in the Alps. Although Grindelwald enjoys a long season more than 40 percent of the ski runs are still equipped with snow-making machines.For non-skiers there are 100 kilometers of marked winter footpaths that enable you to easily explore the mountains on foot. There is also one of the longest toboggan runs in Europe.
