Grimentz is situated at the end of the Val D’Anniviers – a beautiful valley that includes the nearby resorts of Zinal and St Luc. Winter in Grimentz

Grimentz offers superb skiing for all abilities. The slopes stretch along the Becs de Bosson up to an altitude of almost 3000 metres, affording stunning views over the Val d'Anniviers and Rhone Valley. There are plenty of family-friendly pistes back down to the village, while off-piste skiers will find some incredible untouched terrain – with none of the crowds of the bigger resorts. Such are the snow conditions in Grimentz it is possible to ski fresh powder for several days after each snowfall – a luxury only available in this quiet and undiscovered corner of the alps. In December 2013 the long-awaited cable car opens for business linking Grimentz to the nearby resort of Zinal. Together with St Luc this now brings a total of 220kms of piste all accessible on the same lift pass.

Summer in Grimentz

Village life in Grimentz never stops, and in summer you will find a lively array of outdoor activities for all the family. The nearby Moiry Glacier with its Glacier Falls is one of the most spectacular in the Alps. Grimentz and the neighbouring village of St. Jean boast more than 100 km of signed mountain bike routes, ranging from an easy beginners’ stretch to the Grand Raid Cristal race course. Adrenalin junkies can put their courage to the test by canyoning and rafting in the breath-taking gorges, or simply relaxing around the warm alpine lakes. In the village itself you will find swimming pools, tennis courts, crazy golf, climbing walls, children's play areas and much more.
