Winter in Kitzbuhel
The Kitzbuhel ski slopes cover some 170kms of piste and can be divided into several identifiable areas. The Hahnenkamm gondola takes you to the bowl of Ehrenbachgraben where you can find some great, challenging terrain or head off to the neighbouring villages of Jochberg or Kirchberg for some fantastic, long decents. Summer in Kitzbuhel
Kitzbühel is one of the busiest sports town in the Alps in both winter summer. Almost before the snow melts in the mountains near Kitzbühel the sporting summer starts. The lifts start operating in early Spring as “The Streif” opens its 170 km of running and walking trails. In recent years, numerous major bike events have cemented Kitzbühel with a reputation as a top Alpine cycling destination and there are now over 1,000 kms of marked cycle routes across some of the most spectacular scenery in the Alps.
