Winter in Warth
Warth is one of three main ski areas in Bregenzerwald offering snow-sure skiing; the Warth-Schrocken area gets more snow than any other ski area in the Alps, on average snowfall of 11 metres each winter and 140 days of natural snowfall a year.
The original ski region of Warth-Schrocken has now been fully connected to the up-market resorts of Lech and Zurs. Furthermore, with the new connection between St Anton and Lech planned for opening in 2016 / 17 you will now be able to ski the entire 350kms of this incredible ski region without the need for a ski bus!
Warth has an efficient high speed lift system and great facilities for both beginners and children. Whilst much of the Warth-Schrocken ski area is good for beginners, intermediates have a good range of skiing and there are several black pistes. There are also some fantastic off-piste ski routes from the Saloberkopf peak.
