Winter in Seefeld

The Olympiaregion Seefeld has a small yet superb selection of alpine ski areas boasting some 30 cable-cars and lifts. The Bergbahnen, the largest of the ski areas, features the “RosshüTen-Express”, – a high-speed 6-seater chairlift with heated seats – which whisks passengers effortlessly up to the sunny slopes at an altitude of over 2,000 metres. The Gschwandtkopf ski area can be reached from three sides and three villages – Reith, Seefeld and Mösern – and offers excellent skiing as well as delightful views.

For those keen to explore a bit further the Zugspitze glacier is just 30 minutes away and offers a further 70 kilometers of exceptional high altitude skiing late into the season. You will also find thermal spas, over 500 kilometers of cross country tracks, tobogganing and ice skating among others.

Summer in Seefeld

Seefeld is very much a year-round resort and you will find as many visitors there during the long summer months as you do in the winter. Among the many activities on offer there are 650 kilometers of hiking trails, 200 kilometers of cycling and mountain biking tracks, 2 golf courses, indoor and outdoor tennis, riding stable and two glorious outdoor swimming lakes – perfect for cooling down after a morning’s hike.

The new Seefeld Sports centre offers fantastic fun in the water and outstanding relaxation in the saunas and spas.
