Winter in Obergurgl

Also the very advanced skiers will be challenged on the pistes and will find enough safe freeriding spots as well as well as some excellent ski touring routes.

From Obergurgl it is only a 10 minute drive or short hop on the ski bus to nearby Sölden with a further 146 kms of high-altitude skiing that is all covered on the same lift pass.

Summer in Obergurgl

Obergurgl has an increasing number of activities on offer during the warm summer months and the area is popular with hikers and mountain bikers. Indeed, there are more than 700 kms of biking trails in the area making it one of the regions largest mountain biking centres.

The area is also popular for horse riding, rock climbing and, of course, glacier skiing throughout most of the year!
